Responsibilities:
- Grow and evaluate a group of qualified clinicians and caregivers.
- Help with the analysis and evaluation of clinical operations to ensure standards are followed.
- Participate in activities relative to provision of professional services to an assigned group of patients.
- Assist DON/Administrator to ensure that all staff providing care maintains professional standards of community nursing practice.
- Maintain and follow agency procedure and patient care policy standards.
- Assist DON/Administrator with establishing procedures in compliance with state health statutes and administrative rules to include CDC guidelines, OSHA guidelines for employee safety, standard precautions, and infection control procedures.
- Coordinate patient care services for an assigned group of patients.
- Help DON develop policies for, and keep records of criteria for admission to service, case assignments and case management.
- Assist DON with installation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure achievement of goals of the Agency.
- Interpret and transmit policies of the Agency to the assigned staff.
- Report to the DON regarding changes that might affect the clinical operations of the agency.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the DON.
- Help with orientation of new team members before patient contact.
- Participate in continuing education for staff to include orientation and in-services.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities as requested by the DON
- Assist DON with staff performance appraisals.
- Help with billing process as applicable from clinical perspective
- Attain annual goals as established by the DON/Administrator in the annual performance evaluation.
- Preform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum current RN license in the state of practice
- One year of home health experience
- Pediatric experience (preferred)
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
